Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. But to help put your mind at ease, our Potiki Pukeko programme offers specialist infant care and attention, in a secure, nurturing and responsive environment, where they have the freedom to learn, grow and safely explore in our custom-created indoor and outdoor areas. Our naturally gifted infant teachers will take note of your little one’s developmental stage and interests, and respond with tailored daily programme to foster healthy engagement and encourage holistic development. We believe in natural movement and intuitive action in all aspects of your baby's day. This means that we will not put your baby into any equipment (such as highchairs or bouncers) that he or she cannot get into by independent means. Our infant area is quiet and private, set apart from the other, older age groups. Here we create a comforting ‘home away from home' environment, making the transition easy and working with you to keep your child’s routine as close to what they experience at home.

Potiki Pukeko can cater for up to 10 children. We aim for with a teacher/child ratio of 1 : 4 in this area, although at times this may vary due to enrolment patterns
