We also have a ‘lunchbox day’ on Fridays in our Teina Tui and Tuakana Kea rooms, where children are encouraged to bring a lunchbox with several healthy snacks, and our teachers support them to make their own sandwich for lunch upon arrival (bread, toppings and spreads are all provided by the centre).
-
What does my child need to bring? We ask that they bring along a bag each day with at least three changes of clothes (we do like to get creative and engage in messy play opportunities!), a named drink bottle, nappies if required and any special comfort toys/snugglies that they may need during their transition process or for their sleep time.
-
Are you open over the holidays? We are open throughout the year, except for public holidays, and we usually close for up to two weeks over the Christmas period. We also offer families a holiday discount of 4 weeks per year. Be sure to ask us if you have any questions about this.
